This cute cottage is located in the pretty village of Branscombe, close to the Jurassic Coast. The property sleeps four guests and one hairy companion, and is ideally suited to a small family. You’ll be just 0.5 miles from the woof-welcoming beach, from which you can join the dramatic South West Coast Path for exhilarating hikes with jaw-dropping views. In summer, unwind in the beautiful summer shelter in the garden, or in winter get cosy by the wood burner.

The traditional cottage is warm and inviting, with subtle lighting, cosy soft furnishings, and charming original features. Enter into the lounge, with its gorgeous beamed ceiling (just watch out for the restricted head height in some areas) and wood burner – the perfect place to snuggle up after a long walk with the hounds. Steps lead through the open doorway into the kitchen, which has characterful exposed stonework and a breakfast bar for enjoying mealtimes as a group. With direct access to the garden, this is a good place for your canine chums to set up camp. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size bedroom and a bunk bedroom, along with a stylish shower room. Outside, the enclosed garden features a stone-built summer shelter where you can unwind with a good book, and a patio accessed via steps where you can dine alfresco and admire the views of the surrounding countryside.

Branscombe is bursting with quintessential English charm, with chocolate-box thatched cottages dotted along its winding streets. Opposite the property is a 700-year-old pub, where you can enjoy a delicious bar meal with your four-pawed friend. Branscombe’s pebble and shingle beach is lined with colourful beach huts and has a section that welcomes furry beach-goers all year. From Branscombe, enjoy day trips to Sidmouth, Seaton, and Lyme Regis (all within 10 miles).

A lovely cottage for a couple with small children. The beach is a short walk away and lots of other lovely walks along the coast, countryside and beer caves. We didn't need our car all week. Lovely place and s lovely house.

An excellent, clean and cosy cottage in an idyllic village close to the sea. Easy to get around by car or by using the bus that stops just up the road from the cottage - very good for accessing all the lovely local coastal towns. The South West Coast Path is an easy 10 minute walk away too.

A lovely cottage, sympathetically renovated in a beautiful setting. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is kept so clean. A lovely 10 min walk to the beach through lovely scenery. The village is so pretty and full of history. Just a perfect stay for us and our dogs.

Overall the cottage was suitable for our needs which included accommodating a dog. Perfect location for a daily walk to the beach which is approximately half a mile. Also convenient for a walk across the road to the Masons Arms which is a cosy pub serving good food and a decent selection of real ales from St Austell and Branscombe breweries.

Beautiful cottage alot of attention to design and detail. Everything in very good condition and some stuff I think new. Lots of crockery and dishes. Location was just what we were after and we were aware of the parking situation which was fine for us, but I can see for some would be tricky
