A delightful barn conversion close to the year-round, dog-friendly beach of Mawgan Porth is a welcoming holiday home for families or friends sharing and up to three pets. The stone-built cottage, one of a small group of similar properties in the hamlet of Trenance, sleeps five guests and has sea and countryside views from its spacious, first-floor living room. A private path leads to the glorious beach with plenty of delights in store for your furry friends and humans of all ages.
Beautifully furnished to enhance the character of this lovely old building, the cottage has three ground-floor bedrooms. They comprise a single and two king-size rooms, one with an en-suite shower room—where you can wash away the day. Upstairs, the light and airy lounge/kitchen/diner has a vaulted roof and original beams. Plush sofas with sea glimpses and country views are an invitation to relax with your pups in front of the cosy wood burner after a great day out. Outside, a suntrap front patio has garden furniture and a BBQ. There is shared access to a paddock with picnic benches and sea views.
Lively Mawgan Porth provides all the essentials for a traditional bucket-and-spade holiday. These include a village shop, pub and the all-important fish and chip shop. Surfing is superb on this splendid beach and a surf school based there will teach novices the ropes from the age of seven. The huge expanse of golden sand with rock pools is perfect for ball games with your pets, and there are wonderful coast path walks in both directions for you to explore together. Have fun at the village crazy golf course or try the real thing at Merlin golf club just outside the village.
