This charming two-storey cottage in the pretty village of Llanmadoc is ideal for families and friends and up to two canine companions looking for a restful holiday. This is a cosy and comfortable base to explore the Gower Peninsula. Comprising two cottages joined by a connecting door, it’s ideal for groups travelling together who enjoy a little private space too. This picturesque area is a delight for walkers, and your pups will love to head to the sweeping beach at Whiteford Sands (1 mile), where they can play and splash in the sea.

This is a traditional two-storey Welsh cottage with a warm welcome. Enter via the front porch and walk into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where a spacious room with a beamed ceiling, painted stone walls, and a tiled floor with underfloor heating awaits. Your pups have plenty of choices to pick their favourite spot to stretch out. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need to prepare some tasty treats, while the lounge has two sofas, a TV and a cosy wood burner. Upstairs are two bedrooms - one double and one twin, both with en-suite bathrooms. The adjoining cottage is accessed by a connecting door from the kitchen or through the front patio doors. Here you’ll find a cosy living space with a sofa in front of a wood burner-effect electric fire and a neat galley-style kitchen. Upstairs there’s a king-size bedroom and a separate shower room. Outside are two enclosed gardens - a rear garden with a lawned area, a raised patio with outdoor furniture, and a small patio to the front with outdoor furniture.

Head to the surfing beach at breathtaking Rhossili Bay (9 miles) for a great family day out or head in the opposite direction to Mumbles (15 miles) and enjoy the seafood restaurants, ice cream, a sandy beach and the chance to explore Oystermouth Castle. Very cute Cottage, the kitchen was very well stocked with tools & foil but you need to bring washing-up liquid & sponge. Games & books available, Netflix, Comfy sofas & beds. Lots of local pubs serving great food. A hilly area with nice walks near the cottage.
