With the many wonderful beaches of the Gower Peninsula within close reach, this seaside bolthole, set on a single level, is perfect for a couple and their favourite four-legged third wheel looking for a restful and active seaside holiday. Stay close to home with a trip to Mumbles Bay (2 miles), a sheltered sandy beach where four paws can splash in the sea and explore the rock pools with you all year. Explore the village and enjoy sampling the delicious local seafood.

This cosy chalet is compact and bright with a homely decor and coastal theme. Step inside to discover a charming open-plan living space with a lounge, diner, and kitchen. French doors allow you to admire the scenery and provide direct access to the decking from the lounge. The lounge has a TV and a comfortable sofa to snuggle up together with or without four paws by your side or on your lap! The neat kitchen has everything needed to create a romantic or memorable meal to enjoy together, perhaps out on the decking in fine weather. Completing this charming chalet is a sunny double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and WC. Enjoy unforgettable moments on the decked area with bistro furniture, making a perfect place to relax with a morning brew or evening sundowner.

Walkers will love following the spectacular coastal path to explore more of the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Head to Oxwich Bay Beach (9 miles) and let your hound go mutts on the beautiful sand while you can enjoy a range of water sports, including kayaking and paddleboarding. While famed for its beaches, Gower also boasts plenty of countryside walks. The owner was very considerate and helpful, however there was a pervading musty smell even after all windows were opened which lasted all week. The bathroom was smaller than expected with not enough room for us but could well be ok for someone else.
