This delightful annexe offers a quirky retreat for two humans and their canine companion. It’s filled with home comforts and is all on one level for ease of access. Have a ball on the beach at Mumbles (3 miles) on a day out with your dog, stopping off for a cone of fine Welsh-Italian ice cream on your way to sample the finest foods of the local area.

The open-plan living room/kitchen/diner is a bright and welcoming space, with a cosy lounge area complete with two leather sofas, a coffee table and a TV. Here, you can sit back and watch a film, or get lost in a good book whilst your hound snoozes at your feet after a long day out exploring. Beside the window is a dining table with four chairs for mealtimes, conveniently located next to the modern kitchen which is accessed through a pretty archway. You can head to the bathroom for a long soak in the bath before sinking into a slumber in the double bedroom. Double doors from the bedroom lead out into the lovely courtyard garden where a table and chairs are perfectly placed for you to have a morning coffee in the dappled sunlight while your pup stretches its legs on the lawn.

Why not spend a day setting tails wagging at Clyne Gardens (3 miles)? The tranquil garden area welcomes those on four legs as well as two and offers a sanctuary at all times of the year with wildflower meadows, rare plant specimens and several National Plant Collections to sniff at. For a taste of the coast, venture along to Three Cliffs Bay (5 miles) to stop off and admire the shoreline of sand dunes and salt marshes, backed by dramatic limestone cliffs. From here, you can opt to continue onward to Oxwich Bay Beach and woodland (a further 5 miles) to make the most of your stay in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Lovely detached annexe a short drive from Mumbles and ideally located for beaches and coastal path. Comfortable and quiet, great value for money. Planning to return next year.

We had a lovely week staying at the Annexe which seemed to be in a peaceful area. There was plenty of natural light coming into the property from the generous amount of windows and patio doors. For 2 people the place seems spacious enough.

This cottage is ideally suited for easy access to the coastpath and is in a lovely quiet position. The local co-op is only a short walk away and the city of Swansea only about a 30 minute drive

A comfortable, good size cottage that also has a convenient enclosed patio which is handy with the dog. Cottage is in a great location near beaches, walks pubs and shops.

Lovely cottage which is really quite spacious for two people. It was clean, comfortable and warm. It is very convenient for local beaches, local eateries and going off to explore the rest of The Gower. We would definitely stay again.

Everything about our stay was perfect in this lovely property which felt more like your own home than a holiday home. The slight unease we had about privacy was not warranted, perfect for us and our dog . Would definitely stay there again.

Simple one bed annexe type property, totally quiet location, parking almost adjacent to front door. Ideal anyone with mobility issues. Good location from which to drive out to anywhere on Gower.

Great location to explore the Gower area. Lots of walks within a short distance to explore the stunning coastline. Annexe 53 was comfortable with what we needed for a weeks stay.
