Upon entering the farmhouse-style open-plan living area, you’ll feel instantly at home. On one side is a cosy area to gather around and watch a film by the warmth of the wood burner, whilst on the other is a rustic dining table for everyone to congregate around for a family feast beside the light, bright windows. The kitchen offers a second option for dining, with a smaller table seating six, as well as a fantastic range cooker and a selection of appliances to ensure cooking for large groups can be done with ease. The original stone floor and homely decor make this a wonderful social space at all times of the day. Upstairs, the first two of the bedrooms boast king-size beds, as well as coastal views, ensuring a perfect environment for a good night’s sleep. Next up is a peaceful double room, and finally there is a triple room comprising a bunk bed and a single bed – fantastic for children. The family bathroom certainly has the ‘wow’ factor with its dark tiles, tempting rainfall shower and roll-top bath where you can escape for peace and quiet in the tub to unwind. Outside is a lovely garden with both a lawned area and a patio which humans and hounds alike will enjoy making the most of during sunny summer days.
Have a ball on the Gower and Swansea Bay Coast Path with a walk to Rhossili (5 miles) where you’ll be able to get a glimpse of Worm’s Head and stop off on the paw-friendly beach to play in the dunes. Opt for a day out in the charming fishing town of Mumbles to peruse the independent shops and restaurants, being sure to stop off at one of the iconic Welsh-Italian ice cream shops beside the sea to sample fine local treats. Further inland, you’ll find Cefn Bryn Common (7 miles), an area steeped in legend and home to King Arthur''s Stone which offers a plethora of fascinating viewpoints over the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
