This luxurious holiday home on the Gower Peninsula sleeps eight guests and two pups and is the perfect rural bolthole for large families and groups of friends. The property is less than 0.5 miles from the picture-postcard, paw-friendly Pobbles Bay. You can also enjoy a day out to Mumbles (6 miles). With two lounge areas, a terrace, and large, lawned garden, you and the hounds will have ample space for both socialising and relaxing.
The home-away-from-home has a contemporary style, with luxurious touches throughout to make your stay feel extra special. On the ground floor you’ll find a bright kitchen/diner, with a dining table to seat everyone. Patio doors open out onto the terrace, so Rover and Fido can potter in and out. There’s also a formal dining room overlooking the garden. After dinner, unwind in one of the two elegant lounges. A luxurious shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, discover four exquisite bedrooms, all boasting magnificent countryside views. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower room, and there is also a family bathroom on this floor. Outside, soak up the Welsh sunshine in the garden, where your canine pals can play on the lawn and you can dine on the terrace.
As you’d expect, the dog-walking opportunities in the area are limitless. One route takes you away from the village along the coast path, offering breathtaking views of Three Cliffs Bay and the ruins of Pennard Castle. From here, you can descend through the sand dunes, to the beach at Pobbles Bay. This stunning, secluded cove is a real haven of tranquillity, and welcomes fluffy-pawed beach goers all year. At low tide, you and the woofers can stride out along the sand to the popular beach at Three Cliffs Bay.
