Nestled within beautiful gardens with uninterrupted views towards the whole of the Gower Peninsula and a stick’s throw from a coastal path leading to the beach, you’ll be barking mad if you don’t love this spacious family getaway as much as your canine companion.
You won’t have to leave your fetching surroundings behind for long as you hunker down for the evening in the cosy living room to admire views of the picturesque countryside towards the nearby coastline and curl up on the comfortable sofa with your four-legged friend by your feet. Leave your top dog to snooze as you head into the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner to tame the growl of hungry tummies and enjoy family time in the separate dining room which features lots of sunny spots for Rover to bask in. As day turns to dusk, you have two bedrooms on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs where you can dream of tomorrow’s walkies. Throw open the patio doors and unleash your four-legged friend into the enclosed south-facing garden where they’ll have a ball chasing their tail around the garden as you dine alfresco on the patio.
A designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower Peninsula boasts a myriad of coastal cliffside walks and woodland trails with plenty of sticks to fetch. Lead the way to discover one of Gower’s most famous landmarks, Worm’s Head, at Rhossili Bay Beach (1 mile) where your pup will go mutts bounding through 3 miles of golden sand before practising the doggy paddle to adventure the bay’s crystal waters and brilliant surf together. From the beach, join up with the Gower and Swansea Bay Coast Path to journey around the cliffs and fall barking mad for the surrounding scenery with views of basking seals and dolphins on a clear day.
