Perfect for getting back to nature, this magnificent cottage is metres from the sweeping sands of Port Eynon Bay, giving you a chance to totally switch off. Families, friends and pups alike will enjoy this coastal getaway, with plenty of nearby walks, spectacular views over the Gower Peninsula and many local restaurants and shops.

Escape into holiday mode in this seaside cottage, where calming tones and flashes of nautical inspiration reflect the surrounding landscapes. On the ground floor, an open-plan layout of the lounge/kitchen/diner invites conversation into the night while whizzing up delicious meals for the whole troop, including titbits for the pooch. Warm up in front of the cosy flame-effect gas fire, with your canine companion wrapped around your ankles. Play fetch with your lovable pet out on the enclosed lawn or serve up in the sunshine at the table and chairs, with pup in full view. Upstairs, two inviting bedrooms – a king-size and twin – are both decorated to a high standard and complete with TVs for those morning lie-ins.

Keen walkers and their waggy-tailed companions will be in their element at this pretty southern spot. Discover Gower’s walking trails from the doorstep of the cottage, where rugged landscape and encounters with nature are available at any point along the 870-mile stretch. While away hours at Port Eynon beach, making sandcastles, sharing picnics and taking dips along the coastline. Take a body board and enjoy the waves. When tummies begin to rumble, head up to the village, where locally caught fish and chips are available on tap, or pop into one of the hamlet’s cosy pubs, and warm up after a windy afternoon.

Property was clean and well presented. However, the sofas were not at all comfortable and there were no cushions to assist. The garden furniture was lacking lounging chairs and an occasional table. The bathrooms lacked soap dishes/ shampoo holders in the showers. There was only one bathsheet-size towel. Jitu and his wife were delightful and very heRead morelpful and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Excellent central village location 2 minutes from the beach, but also really peaceful. The property was fitted out to a really high standard and was immaculate, it felt like we were the first people to stay there. Sainsburys delivered no problem and plenty of space for family of 4. There's only 2 very minor things I would change: include a decentRead more broom in the cottage - we were bringing a small amount of sand in when coming back from the beach and the only brush was tiny. And the landline uses the internet so if you're relying on this for some communications (our mobile reception was poor for our network) then it would cut out now and again. Those are literally the only things I could fault, everything else was absolutely spot on. Hide
