Located within the cosmopolitan fishing village of Mumbles, this charming five-bedroom cottage is the perfect base to explore coast and country. With popular seaside resorts, rich cultural heritage and walking routes aplenty, this is the ideal retreat for a group of ten and one four-pawed friend.

Open the door to this wonderful end of terrace property, where a living room bathed in natural light offers many cuddly sofas for you and your party to chat into the night. Gather for a movie night, with the pooch by your side, or rustle up fantastic feasts in the cosy kitchen and dine out in the back garden with a glass of something crisp in hand. When it’s time for weary heads to unwind, guests have a choice of five inviting bedrooms; the first is a double with an en-suite bathroom and Juliette balcony overlooking the beautiful garden area. Continuing on this floor, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom are ideal for little ones. On the second floor of the house, find two more double bedrooms set beneath eaves for a restful night’s sleep. Awake from a slumber and let the pup spill out into the garden to play whilst you stick the kettle and take some time out in the summerhouse at the bottom of the garden.

Set tails wagging with a downhill descent into the hamlet of Newton, where a convenience store, local butcher and deli offer many delicious ingredients for creating culinary delights for your party. Clip a lead on your perfect pooch and hike along the well-trodden tracks to a number of coastal towns, including Mumbles, where a castle, Victorian pier and many foodie stops are sure to be a welcome treat. Let Fido while away the hours pacing the beautiful shores of Langland Bay (0.5 miles) and Caswell Bay (1 mile) while you lap up the delights of the many ice cream shops.

Very enjoyable stay in Mumbles some fantastic views and lovely walks along the sea front, area was very accommodating for dogs so eating out was a pleasure, just one issue with the location a very steep hill up to the property. The property itself had ample space with 5 good sized bedrooms and lots of space to relax in the evening, the property diRead mored feel a bit tired and in need of some TLC but nothing that spoiled our stay. We found this property quite last minute after a cancellation on our initially booked rental on Airbnb. We were able to invite additional guests as 138 Newton road caters for 10 which was great. Location isn't too bad although very steep hills and not ideal for those with mobility issues. The property was spacious and pretty well equipped for our nRead moreeeds. Hide

The property is very large and suits a multi family booking where volume is the issue. The location is at the top of a hill which is inhumanely steep and suited to walkers of high fitness only. Local on road parking surprisingly good. Could not operate oven and hob repeatedly cut out. We were gobsmacked to find we had to take rubbish bags away atRead more end of week - not on, that. All round accomodation was less good than photos suggested and a little shoddy. Could not contact host as holiday cottages gave dead mobile number and holiday cottages didn't reply to my emails. When finally contacted host, support was not friendly but effective. Mumbles and Gower v. Nice but accommodation comfortable but disappointing. Hide

We enjoyed the 5 bedroom cottage and there were some parts good: size of rooms, size of kitchen, very good washing machine and tumble dryer, good size fridge and freezer, good shower in the en-suite The views from the cottage of Mumbles bay are glorious.

A spacious cottage with beautiful views from the garden and three of the bedrooms (especially the master). It's in an excellent position with gorgeous beaches just down the road.
