Four-pawed pals will also enjoy pacing the dune-backed sands and then stopping off at the one of the most dog-friendly pubs on Gower, The King’s Head. For history buffs, a trip to Parc le Breos Burial Chamber is worth a visit (9.5 miles) while back on ground level, take in the sights as you meander around 450 acres of lakes, woods, pools and lagoons at the Llanelli Wetland Centre (16 miles).
