This modern seaside property is a delightful choice for a family of four looking to explore the Welsh coast with their canine companion in tow. Leave the car behind and sniff out wildlife, nature reserves, beaches and plenty of picturesque villages right from your doorstep.

Sitting within a cluster of three cottages, make your way inside to find yourself in the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. High-quality furnishings and a flame-effect electric fire invite you and your pooch to steal a moment’s peace while the rest of your party funnel through. Spend many happy evenings here, where plenty of laugher and barks are bound to fill the group with joy. Work up an appetite throwing the ball for Fido in the enclosed garden and rustle up something tasty in the for the whole party. Serve up on the table and chairs laid for four, or on those warmer evenings, heave open the French doors and take your feast outside. Two charming bedrooms can be found on the first floor, where a king-size and twin room both boast TV’s and en-suite bathrooms for plenty of privacy on those lazier mornings. Seize the day by grabbing your walking boots from the convenient ground floor cloakroom and lead your four-legged friend down to the village to take in the sunrise over the coast.

Set within the most southerly point of the Gower Peninsula, the coastal village of Port Eynon is within easy reach where you will find a number of restaurants, pubs and traditional fish and chips. Whilst staying here, sniff out the dune-backed sandy beach, which is just half a mile from the property and provides a day of frolics and fun for all the family. Follow the waymarked walking route from here along the coast and up to Oxwich, where dramatic headlands, beautiful woodlands and open clifftops give the most amazing views over this part of the Welsh coast.

We enjoyed a great week at Bramley Cottage which is very cosy, comfortable and well equipped. It was in a great location very close to the beach, pub and restaurant. As it was October the week before half-term the two takeaways were unfortunately not open. Secure garden was good for our dog. Beds very comfortable and nicely furnished throughoutRead more with work by local artists. We would definitely recommend a stay here and it is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Gower Peninsula! Hide

Lovely clean cottage like home from home. This is our second year of renting this cottage and enjoyed it just as much. Loved the extras which included hand soap, washing up liquid, tea, biscuits, chocolates, coffee, milk, sugar. They have thought of everything. The cottage is warm and always has hot water. The showers are also really good. LocatiRead moreon is great, less than 5 mins to the beach, a selection of shops including takeaways and cafe, next door to one pub and round the corner from another. Our teenage kids had a great time on the beach everyday with their body boards. I highly recommend and will return. Hide
