Property code: OC-HH2103

A delightful cottage with a leafy wrap-around garden and stunning views across the Gower Peninsula. This relaxing retreat is ideal for reuniting with friends or family escapes with a couple of waggy-tailed amigos in tow. Enjoy an early morning scamper along the crescent of sand stretching along Port Eynon Bay (1 mile), then indulge in al fresco warm pastries from the patio overlooking the glistening coastline.

This stylish property boasts a vibrant interior with playful design details, warm wood textures, and light-dappled social spaces. Free your impatient pup from his sandy harness then pad into the inviting lounge to rest up weary paws. Browse the arched bookshelf or congregate on the soft sofas with an aperitif and nibbles. Secure the best seat in the house in the airy conservatory and slide open the patio doors so your curious canines can sniff in the wind. Catch up on a spot of work perched in the secluded desk nestled beneath the stairs. Adorn the long table with a fresh summer spread and raise a glass of fizz to your special occasion. Stepping into the wooden shaker kitchen, prepare some kibble for your hungry hounds then rustle up some post-dinner drinks for the rest of the pack. Spruce up any mucky outdoor gear in the handy utility room. Rest up in your choice of an en-suite king and two adaptable king/twins. Soak in some morning rays from the paved patio while Fido and friends snuffle through shrubs on the lawn.

Doe-eyed dogs can charm the workers for a meaty treat and scratch behind the ears at the beachfront bistro in Rhossili (6 miles). Scamper beneath the limestone rocks of Three Cliffs Bay (8 miles) for a breath-taking ball-throwing backdrop or, at low tide, scramble atop rocky outcrops to spot the iconic Mumble Lighthouse (16 miles).

  • 3 bedrooms – 1 king-size, 2 king-size zip-and-links (can be arranged as twins on request)
  • 3 bathrooms – 1 shower room with WC, 1 bathroom with WC, 1 shower room (no WC), plus 1 en-suite WC

Great location with lots to explore on the Gower. Our favourite outings were Oxwich bay ( not a quick visit as its set 7 for parking - all the more time to walk the beach and try the eateries), Rhosilli, walks along the cliffs from the door and fantastic view and lamb from Woebley castle. Then great to return to Windy Ridge and enjoy the sea viewsRead more and local bird life visiting the garden. Hide

The cottage was very comfortable and very well equipped. It is in a beautiful location with a lovely sea view from the conservatory and two of the bedrooms. It's location is ideal for easy access to the coast path which can be accessed in a five minute walk from the cottage. The garden was lovely, private and well enclosed for our dog. Excellent view from the back of the property with a useful garden. Cottage was clean with planty of different spaces to use. Well stocked kitchen and modern bathrooms. Note upper bedroom has very sloped ceiling and no door to downstairs dining area. Very comfortable cottage.

We loved the cottage and are coming back next year. Its a quiet location and not much in Port Eynon as such (other than coast/beach) but even in bad weather the views are great and we felt very cosy in the conservatory and living room. Very close to beautiful Rhosilli (15 min drive?) and day trips to Kidwelly and the Mumbles so lots to do and seeRead more in the wider area. Hide

The house is very well equipped and spacious, good sized kitchen and plenty of seating areas. We found the beds comfortable and with 6 adults, the modern, multiple bathrooms were needed. The location is absolutely perfect for walkers and nature lovers, coastal path at the end of the lane, and so many beautiful walks within a 15 minute drive, simply wonderful.
