A striking stone property enveloped by a lush garden oasis and boasting tranquil vistas across Oxwich Bay. This luxurious hideaway is perfect for large family gatherings or reunions with friends plus two waggy-tailed members. Crash through the lapping shoreline of Three Cliffs Bay (1.5 miles), before sliding open the magnificent patio doors to enjoy an al fresco fiesta with an unbeatable coastal backdrop.

This tastefully converted cottage expertly blends country charm and contemporary flair. Picture vaulted wooden beams, exposed brickwork, earthy neutral tones, and sleek glazing. Dry sandy fur on the porch then attempt to pot a hole on the elegant snooker table. Pad along the slate tiling into the spacious lounge and stretch weary paws in the ambient glow of the wood burner. Unwind on the soft sofas with a tipple in hand and settle in for a blether. Step into the beautifully appointed dining area bathed in natural light and offering breathtaking sea views. Slide open the floor-to-ceiling Bifold doors to embrace breezy indoor-outdoor living then gather around the wooden feasting table for a celebratory supper. While away afternoons pottering in the country kitchen and rustle up an extra meaty meal for your furry companions. Escape to the snug for a moment of peace or let the creative juices flow in the sophisticated study. Ascend the staircase and sink into the crisp linens of four enticing bedrooms, each featuring elevated views of Oxwich Bay and chic en-suites. Outside, scope out the pool table or set noses twitching with a saunter through the landscaped gardens.

Sniff out the intriguing crumbling ruins of the 12th Century Pennard Castle (5 miles) then inhale the salty ocean breeze with some ball-chasing antics on the soft sands of Rhosilli Bay (9 miles). Don’t miss the chance to sample doggy ice cream on the bustling Grade II-listed Mumbles Pier (9 miles).

Nicholaston is a lovely holiday cottage in a superb location overlooking the bay. A couple of minor issues but this did not detract from our holiday. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. Beautiful nearby beaches and cliff top walks. The Oxwich Bay Bistro is excellent for food & service. We would not hesitate to return.

This was a wonderful holiday. Nicholaston Cottage is spacious, airy and has amazing views. All bedrooms face the sea, and the view from the dining room and upper patio are stunning. We had a party of 6 adults, and it was lovely to have alunge to congregate in comfortably in the evening, but with ample space to spread out at different times of the Read moreday. The kitchen was well-equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The bathrooms are all high-spec and allow a touch of luxury to the stay. The garden is also lovely and even in February, we had some time int he sunshine on the patio. We also appreciated the table tennis table and the snooker. We loved it and are already planning our next visit - a wonderful place for us to spend time with our family. Hide

In the main we were very pleased with our holiday property. The standard of accommodation was excellent and the location was both stunning and convenient. However, the start of our holiday was marred by a mix up with the property keys. The keys were not left in the keysafe as they should have been and it took nearly 2 hours and several phone calls Read morebefore someone came and let us in. We were not given a proper apology for the mix-up with a series of excuses being presented to us instead. It was an unfortunate start to our stay which could have been handled a lot better by the staff that we dealt with. Hide

Wasnt very clean I had to clean kitchen on arrival as breadcrumbs under and around toaster, dirty fingerprints on cupboards, drips of food on cupboard doors, dust and dog hair in the corners. On previous visits it has been spotless so a little disappointed with that. Everything else was perfect though

Property was amazing and very well appointed. A few picky points... no oven gloves. No spare batteries for remotes which ran out. Also would have liked a loo roll in each loo.

Clean comfortable cottage.Perfect for our holiday with 3 other couples as we each had our own ensuite. Kitchen well equipped although we did have to purchase our own oven gloves. Also no instructions for TV in lounge which we couldn't use initially u til we realised it needed to be reset at the box on the wall. Great location 10 minute stroll to OxRead morewich bay. Lovely secure garden to relax in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hide

we had a very good holiday but there are a couple of things that are easily improveable. for a 5 star property that had a lovely welcome pack that included a bottle of wine and biscuits we were very surprised that none of the 6 toilets had any toilet roll in them when we arrived. It would only cost 5 or less to leave a pack (if worried about CovidRead more they could be left unopened. There was also not even 1 dishwasher tablets or black bin liner - again as the welcome pack must have cost 10 or more we would have expected a few dishwasher tablets and maybe 2 black bin bags or to have an email advising there were none. We went last year and I am sure these were provided. It is especially important as there are not many shops locally. Hide
