A tastefully remodelled cottage brimming with nautical charm and perfectly placed for admiring the magnificent views across Swansea Bay. This sun-soaked hideaway is ideal for families or couples seeking a restorative seaside retreat with their favourite furry companion. Indulge in a bag of salty chips as you amble along the bustling boardwalk of the Grade II-listed Mumbles Pier (1 mile), before reclining on the magnificent glass-fronted balcony with a tranquil coastal backdrop.

This traditional property features a breezy beach interior with crisp white tones, wooden textures, and playful design details. Grab a fluffy towel to dry soggy paws then step through the front door with a quirky porthole window. In cooler months, be lulled into the living room by the heat of the wood burner. Sink onto the sofa with a post-adventure tipple or whip out the board games for some easy entertainment. Top off glasses with a chilled bottle of fizz then delve into a tempting evening spread gathered at the round dining table. Rustle up a sweet treat in the bright kitchen and sneak some leftover nibbles to your doe-eye dog. Retreat upstairs to discover a serene double with magnificent bifold doors revealing the secluded garden terrace – an ideal spot for sniffing in the wind. Completing the first floor is an airy twin. Venturing outdoors, ball-chase in the garden, chomp a chew on the wooden deck, or enjoy a sunny snooze on the terrace.

Venture out at low tide to saunter along the rugged headland leading towards the towering Mumbles Lighthouse (1 mile) then settle in for tasty bakes and fresh coffee with the dog-loving locals along the Mumbles beachfront (500 metres). Heading inland, bound along the sweeping sandstone ridge of Cefn Bryn (9 miles) to sniff out the legend-stepped Arhtur’s Stone.

Lovely little cottage up a steep picturesque hill in the heart of Mumbles but parking outside is a nightmare. You can park on the main road if you are lucky accept you have to pay and factor it in to your holiday costs.

I would recommend the cottage. Really cosy and amazing views. Lovely to be able to walk down to the seafront bars and restaurants in five minutes.

Lovely house in a great location with gorgeous walks right on the doorstep. The area is hilly, but it's worth it!

It was our first time in The Mumbles. The cottage was beautiful with lovely views of the bay and the weather was perfect. Would recommend it to anyone! I will certainly be visiting again in the future.

Lovely cottage, well equipped extremely comfortable beds. views from the garden and balcony were amazing .the downfall was the lack of parking other wise we couldn't fault it, our only downfall was having to leave after 2 days because of a family bereavement and not being able to stay the whole week

Lovely cottage, fully equipped with everything we needed. Fantastic wooden floors throughout, lovely comfortable beds. Amazing roof terrace with a great view and another great view of the beach from an area at the back of the garden. Everything you need is within walking distance. If you walk into town, the road is very steep coming back up anRead mored narrow for driving up. Hide

Lovely holiday home with good access to shops and restaurants in the Mumbles. Comfortable beds , well equipped kitchen ,good WiFi,nice neighbours. Great balcony off main bedroom with sea views. Support team very helpful. On a very steep hill,we parked our car on Higher Lane which was only a couple of minutes walk using the cut through passage.

A great well equipped cottage with stunning views in a lovely town. Very good for access to both wonderful walks and a variety of shops and restaurants. You need a certain level of fitness to walk up and down the hill from the main shops to the property and parking on the street was almost impossible but this did not put us off.
