A stylish seaside townhouse situated in a peaceful neighbourhood of Mumbles on the Wales South Coast. This airy retreat is perfect for family groups and their waggy-tailed amigo. Curious pups can sniff out salty rock pools and crash through the waves lapping ashore Mumbles Beach (1.5 miles), before tackling an al fresco chew on the sun-soaked wooden deck.

This spacious two-storey property features a colourful coastal interior with soft neutral tones, lived-in leather textures, and light-flooded social spaces. Unclip sandy harnesses then venture into the airy lounge. Brew a cuppa and scoff some nibbles perched on the sofas while Fido naps on the rug. Rope in little helpers to assist with setting the wooden table. On balmy summer evenings, prop open the French doors before dishing out a memorable evening meal. Pour some post-dinner tipples in the bright kitchen with sleek wooden cabinets then treat your faithful companion to a meaty holiday treat. As the night draws in, ascend the staircase to find two tranquil doubles styled with sophisticated soft furnishings. Completing the first floor is a playful bunk room with a squishy beanbag chair perfect for late-night puppy cuddles. After morning walkies, brew a frothy coffee from the Nespresso machine then step outside to enjoy an al fresco breakfast with the pack on the raised deck.

Gaze at the water crashing below your feet during a saunter along the Grade II-listed Mumbles Pier (1 mile) where furry food critics can sample doggy ice cream. Scope out the seasonal events showcasing at the Gower Heritage Centre (7 miles) and browse the farm shop for goodies before embarking on an adventure to spot the legendary Arthur’s Stone (13 miles).

The cottage was as described. Warm and comfy. Well presented and clean. Plenty of seating and room for the four of us. The location, while not picturesque was close to good walks and a short drive to lots of other places.

Beautiful little house, very well maintained, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen . Beds were so comfortable. Highly recommended

On arrival the cleanliness was sloppy, there was food debris in the kitchen drawers, rusty kitchen utensils, dust on the fridge and cobwebs in the lounge, this should have been spotless prior to arrival, I didn't make this known at the time as I really didn't want anyone in cleaning having after driven 9 hours. Property location is brilliant for MuRead morembles, Limeslade and Bracelet Bays. The spot allocated for parking which was meant to be at the rear of the property adjacent to the wall, someone else had parked there for the duration of our visit. This property is not a cosy cottage if this is what you're looking for, it is a fairly new build property with no character on a residential estate. Not happy also with the 'damage deposit', either pay 250 refundable if no damage, or 25 deposit waiver, the latter just feels as if it is a stealthy way to charge more as not everyone can afford the 250. Very nice new-build property, lacking those finishing touches to make it welcoming, quite messy and unloved, but overall a perfectly adequate base, lovely lounge, decent beds and clean bedding. Having a car is essential due to hills and distances but parking quite challenging, the local residents were unhappy with the house being a holiday home.

Set in a pleasant residential area. The actual property is of good quality but it is now shabby and needs some tlc. Large appliances work well, but shortcomings in crockery and glassware. The servicing is basic postage stamp sized towels, no toilet rolls, washing up or cleaning materials and certainly no welcome pack. All in all an acceptable but Read morebasic experience. Hide

Fabulous location close to the coastal path, and a short walk to Rotherslade Bay. About 12 minute walk to Mumbles centre. We had a lovely comfortable stay here. The back patio/garden area is a little neglected but we didn't use it much anyway. We would stay here again.
