Arranged over two storeys and surrounded by tranquil country views, this two-bedroom holiday home boasts exposed beamed ceilings, impressive fireplaces and period furniture. With windows on three sides, the lounge is light and spacious yet incredibly cosy with bookshelves, an assortment of comfortable seating and an impressive inglenook fireplace with a wood burner that’s sure to please the weary pawed after a winter walk. The modern fitted kitchen has everything you need to rustle up family favourites and some tasty titbits for your canine companion, while the formal dining room is a great spot to gather the entire pack for mealtimes. When not out adventuring, have a ball in the lovely lawned garden, or enjoy a cuppa in the sunny conservatory while your pup snoozes contentedly by your side. Upstairs, the two bedrooms offer a restful night’s sleep, ready for a new leash of life in the morning.

Let Fido lead the way to adventure with walking and cycling trails all around including the Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track, a former railway line running between Scarborough and Whitby. Alternatively, head to Hayburn Wyke (1.5 miles) to walk the beautiful waterfall trail and explore the surrounding nature reserve. If you fancy a day at the seaside, the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby are 7 and 14 miles respectively.

Excellent location, we have had a lovely time, agree that a shower in the main bathroom would be a help. We have enjoyed watching the bats in the evening and were also lucky enough to see a bar owl
