On the first floor, a pair of charming single bedrooms sit alongside the refreshing shower room. The final bedroom is on the second floor, in the low-sloping eaves of the cottage, with timber beams and a sumptuous king-size bed on a raised dais. The booking and payment process was very easy. A refundable deposit was required and we anticipate a full refund as we left the property as we found it. As we only completed our stay a few days ago the refund is still to be made. Everything about the cottage met our expectations and requirements.

Lovely cottage, with the perfect balance of old and new, in a gorgeous village location. Parking was easy and we did some beautiful walks straight from the front door. The village pub and cafe are a treat. We loved our few nights away in the Dales. Thank you.

Great place to stay at the centre of the village, with great shops and pubs within walking distance. The only downside would be the Rayburn cooker and heating system which burns oil and very tempremental.

A great location in this wonderful town. Right opposite Skeldale House [All Creatures 1977], with quality, welcoming pubs very close by. Askrigg is well located for ventures to all compass points on foot or by road. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
