This modern three-storey townhouse is in the market town of Ulverston, on the scenic Furness Peninsula. Offering comfortable accommodation for up to six humans and two canines, it’s a wonderful option for a family or group of friends wishing to discover the town and country delights of the South Lakes. To cap it all, the property has got an enclosed rear patio where your pets can lounge while you sip a glass of something delicious in the evenings.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a modern kitchen with lovely granite countertops and a tiled floor, plus a dining room with French doors leading to the patio. The living room is on the first floor – this space has a Juliet balcony and is great for relaxing as a family, perhaps watching something together on the Smart TV. The en-suite master bedroom is also on this middle floor, while the two other bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. The contemporary bathroom, which has gorgeous grey wall tiles, is a lovely place for an indulgent holiday soak.

When it’s time to head out, you can meander through Ulverston’s cobbled streets with your faithful furry friends, perhaps stopping for a pint or a coffee in one of the town’s dog-friendly establishments. The edge of the Lake District National Park is 4 miles away, where you can explore mile upon mile of doggie-pleasing trails and sniff out delights such as Lake Windermere (9 miles) and Coniston Water (8 miles), or trek up one of the many fells for a more strenuous workout. The Duddon Valley (13.5 miles) is another natural space your pets will go mutts for.

Lovely property, perfect location, thoughtfully supplied with provisions. Dogs are welcome and some great places to walk nearby. Lots of good food places in walking distance.
