Property code: OC-DRIFT4

A characterful and welcoming property, originally part of a pilchard press, situated in the heart of St Ives is perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing haven with their precious pup. St Ives Harbour is less than 300 metres away, or take your pup to Trewyn Gardens (500 metres), perfect for a pleasant morning stroll around the Subtropical Gardens or a peaceful haven from the bustle of St Ives during the day.

Open-tread stairs lead up to this charming first-floor apartment which is a wonderfully cosy getaway in the heart of this thriving seaside town. The property has a coastal theme and relaxing decor. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a great space for sitting back and unwinding at the end of a memorable day and has plenty of windows and skylights flooding the area with natural light. Featuring a TV and plenty of comfortable seating, the tastefully decorated lounge provides an ideal spot to snuggle up and enjoy a favourite movie with your hound next to you or napping at your feet. There’s a cheery dining area over by the window and a small contemporary kitchenette with all the appliances you need to prepare delicious meals at any time of the day. At the end of the day, retire to the comfortable king-size bedroom. A shower room with a WC completes the offer for this lovely apartment. Outside you can enjoy a stroll along the South West Coast Path in either direction.

Top dogs will enjoy the 6.5- mile linear walk from St Ives to Zennor along cliff-top paths, past glistening coves and rocky outcrops. You can extend the walk through the countryside to make a 12-mile circular walk. Head towards Penzance and let your hound lead the way on the circular walk from Marazion Station car park (8 miles) via Perranuthnoe. The walk follows the coast path skirting Mount''s Bay, with wonderful views beyond St Michael''s Mount to Penzance, Newlyn and the coastline of West Penwith. And your sea dogs will love to join you on a boat trip to watch for seals from St Ives to Seal Island or Godrevy lighthouse.

It was charming, well equipped and clean. A note for owner: there is a slate hanging precariously right over the front door which could cause serious damage if it falls off onto someone's head. Another slate fell off the roof in front of the dog groomer next door. The gutters need cleaning out. When it rains it's like walking through a waterfall wRead morehen entering and exiting property.
