Excellent accommodation in a prime position for 6 people. We were 3 and you need to back onto drive. Wouldnt accommodate 2 cars. There is provision just opposite but other cars use it.

We have been going to Beer since 1989, and we have stayed in many different cottages in Beer, and we can honestly say that West View is by far the best cottage we have stayed in. Fully equipped, beautifully maintained and in our opinion hard to beat.

We have stayed at this cottage 4 times consecutively and we have already booked again for next year. We find it comfortable and well equipped especially since the kitchen was refurbished. Its in a fantastic location and the patio area at the front is ideal. The parking is also a big bonus.

Without doubt the best self catering holiday home we have experienced in 55 years of travelling and staying in this type of property. Well designed, immaculately clean, very comfortable, modernised but still with the cottage-feel. A comprehensive set of appliance instructions, information about the area, excellent TV and Wifi are also provided. TheRead more best equipped house too, with every possible kitchen item and, in the case of crockery and cutlery, plenty of it. For example, we normally take sharp knives and a sharpener - they are always blunt and in short supply. Not necessary here as its all in top condition - with a sharpener! The bed was comfortable (there were only 2 of us so we only used one room). The outside area was great, a large patio with a table and plenty of chairs (all very good quality furniture) and also a bench and coffee table. The view across the rooftops of Beer is very pleasant. The location is convenient for walking into the village/down to the beach/to the local restaurants or for access to all the nearbyl attractions and towns. Highly recommended. Hide

This was our fourth year renting this place and it improves every year. Its a marvellous cottage in a super little village which is handy as a touring centre for Devon. The company through which we rented the property is excellent and their staff very helpful and nice people too; they are available in person on the Main Street just down the way, Read moreso help and advice is handy. The cottage itself is superbly equipped and the house feels very comfortable too. The kitchen is simply excellent and a pleasure to use. We had a wonderful week as we always do, largely down to the quality of the cottage and the people who look after it. Hide

Beer is an absolute gem and Westview Cottage was extremely comfortable. For us it was a great location. It is on a steep hill which may not be right for everyone though. The cottage is very well equipped - we regularly rent in various locations around the UK, and this was *way* better than most.
