Property code: OC-JBOLDD

Right in the heart of the village of Beer, this cosy apartment offers a prime position to coastal resorts, the South West Coast Path and plenty of award-winning eateries. Sleeping two and one furry friend, this romantic bolthole provides everything needed to enjoy the fruits of East Devon and its surroundings.

After climbing the stairs, make yourself at home in this compact, cosy apartment with soft furnishings, pops of colour and calming seascapes adorning the walls. Invite your pup through to the lounge/diner where their favourite blanket can find its home for the holiday, and sumptuous furniture encourages curling up with a good book or a thrilling TV programme. Treat your other half to a tasty dinner rustled up in the vibrant kitchen with produce bought from the Beer Village Store (don’t forget nibbles for Rex). When it’s time to turn in, say goodnight to your waggy-tailed pal, and retire to the relaxing double bedroom for snuggling down in ultimate comfort. In the morning, use the beach as your back garden (300 metres) and let the pooch stretch their legs on the sand.

Gentle amblers and experienced hikers are all catered for on this beautiful part of the Devon coastline. Wander out of the apartment where you’ll find the idyllic Beer Beach, a sheltered shoreline where ball games are encouraged, and fishing boats go about their day. Providing you with even more walking routes, the 630-mile South West Coast Path meanders through the village, giving you jaw-dropping views of the Jurassic Coast. When tummies are rumbling, stroll back to Beer for a cosy pint with the locals or travel 2 miles to the colourful town of Seaton, where freshly caught seafood and homemade cakes bring energy back after a long day of exploration.

Nice flat in great location. Stairs are steep so may prove difficult for those with mobility issues. Otherwise a good place to stay, with everything you need.

A well positioned small 1st floor apartment central to all amenities in Beer. Access stairs are steep with narrow steps. 200m from main long stay carpark. Overall an excellent quiet retreat.

The location was great. The sound of the stream was so relaxing. A very friendly little village. Plenty to do in the area. The flat is an adequate size for two. Stairs are slightly steep, but hand rail provided.

The accommodation was small but sufficient just for the 2 of us. The steps up to the apartment were steep and I could image that this may prove difficult for the less able. We visited in October so a light outside the main door or at the bottom of the hall would have been useful to access the apartment. Parking is in the main car park in Beer, justRead more a short walk and we were able to park outside just to load and unload our luggage. Beer was a lovely place to stay with enough cafes, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. On the whole we had a great few days. Hide
