This bijou property is an ideal bolthole for couples and their dog. It’s in a great location to explore the nearby coast and countryside – so canine companions are always well-catered for here. Inside, you’ll find contemporary interiors that are light and bright, yet the property retains plenty of character thanks to vaulted ceilings and thoughtful finishing touches.
You enter the property up a small ramp from its garden. Head through patio doors straight into the living area: it’s an open-plan space all on one level. The kitchen is at one end with everything you need to cater for two and your dog. You can eat at the extendable table for two, the ideal spot for a romantic dinner. To kick back and relax, you can sit on either the large sofa or armchair, while watching TV with your dog asleep at your feet. When it’s time for bed, the bedroom has a double bed and is extremely comfortable. You can use the shower room with its walk-in shower – also great for hosing down any muddy dogs who got too excited on their daily walk. For when the weather allows, the garden is west facing and enclosed so it’s perfect for letting out dogs or simply enjoying the sun on one of the colourful sun loungers. There’s also a bistro set and a parasol, so you could eat out here too.
Thanks to being just outside Aldeburgh, there are a plethora of eateries to choose from just a short distance away. You can go on long, leisurely walks down by the coast too, or head further afield up to Thorpeness with its long stretch of shingle beach and the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve further north towards Southwold and Walberswick.
