  • Ideal for a group wishing to enjoy the Cornish countryside and coast

Property code: OC-P00795

This attractive four-bedroom property is set in the heart of the Looe Valley and is surrounded by woodland sits. With plenty of space and riverside walks from the door, it’s a beautiful spot for a family and one hound looking to immerse themselves in nature.

Stylish furnishings and countryside charm combine to create an elegant and inviting space. After a long day exploring, kick off wellies and relax on one of the plump sofas in the huge living room. With two wood burners to keep things cosy, pour a drink, enjoy chat and nibbles or unwind with a film and your pup at your feet. Come mealtime, step through to the well-equipped kitchen and rustle up a delicious dinner then gather everyone together and serve it at the eight-seater kitchen table. The kitchen opens onto a light-drenched snug room so Fido can doze while you eat. Upstairs, take your pick from four lovely bedrooms featuring a mix of king-size, twin, and bunk beds. Bright and airy, one of the rooms also boasts a fantastic balcony with river and woodland views. Outside, your pup will love sniffing out new scents in the enclosed garden while you watch herons and kingfishers come and go from the river.

Pull on hiking boots and enjoy a scenic 2-mile stroll with your hound through Kilminorth Woods and along the river into Looe. Alternatively, hire a boat and explore the surrounding landscape from the water. The coastal town of Looe is a pretty place with cobbled streets, a harbour, and plenty of dog-friendly shops, cafes, and restaurants. For a day on the beach, head to Hannafore Beach in East Looe (2.5 miles) or explore the dramatic coastline on the South West Coast Path.

It is a beautiful cottage in a lovely, quiet location in the forest next to the river. There are many beautiful walks, especially the path following the river to Looe.

this cottage was absolutely beautiful- the location was stunning right by the lake with canadian ducks and owls at night (although quite a drive down some scary lanes!) the home was equipped fantastically, we genuinely couldn't have asked for more. Even the neighbours were lovely and chatty- Great stay

This lovely cottage is situated at the bottom of a lane in an idyllic spot by a river, which is tidal from Looe. There is always something to see and wildlife to admire. The cottage is charmingly furnished and the kitchen is equipped to an incredibly high standard, so even the most demanding of cooks would find catering a pleasure. Our group of Read moreseven people had plenty of space. We all really enjoyed our stay. Hide
