Both of the cottage''s characterful bedrooms - a super-king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom that’s perfect for youngsters - are inviting places to begin and end days full of adventure. A shower room also stands close by. Enjoy alfresco brunches or evening BBQs in the small enclosed garden at the rear, along with a range of shared facilities in and around a neighbouring courtyard, including a grassy paddock, shared gym, tennis court, hot tub and a detached building ideal for larger group gatherings.

If you want to make a day of it, scurry along its stunning beach towards the bustling fishing village of Seahouses (5 miles) at low tide. This property was very well equipped, clean, lovely views out the front to sheep grazing in the fields. Ideally placed for exploring this lovely area of Northumberland.

A comfortable, spacious, well equipped cottage. Lovely rural location. The only disappointment was the difficult styles which we could not lift our dogs over.
