The location was fantastic with a large open grassed area in front of the house so no one walking or driving passed looking.

This house is in a good location only a short walk from the beach. It was basically clean and tidy but a lot more thought could have been put into provision of several items such as poor selection of cutlery and lack of spare toilet rolls ! Take some cushions with you as the settee was not at all comfortable.

I was disappointed with the garden. At the front there were weeds everywhere. In fact my friend started pulling them out. At the back the decking looked very sad and the pretend grass, well weeds were growing through it, and it was frayed.

My sister, dog, and I had a lovely week at Samphire. The house is a home from home with everything you need, including a very handy heated drying rail. We were disappointed, however, not to find a dvd player downstairs as advertised. The house is spotlessly clean and felt fresh on our arrival. The open plan room is light and airy with plenty of Read morecomfy seating to cosy into after a long walk. The house is perfectly positioned, close to the spectacular beach and The Landing restaurant. Beadnell village centre is a 15 minute walk away along Harbour Road with some wonderful views. Samphire is at the end of a small terrace which makes it more private than other properties with a large grassy area outside, perfect for those early morning doggy visits. The garden is small but catches the sun for alfresco dining and the artificial turf keeps it clean and mud-free. Hide
