This property is excellent! It is clean, comfortable, warm and the location is great. The property was easy to find in a complex with several others, well signed and complete with car parking (always a bonus). there is a pub next door that offers accommodation and does nice pub grub and a hotel across the road with a more upmarket restaurant, very Read morenice. The beach is a 10 minute walk through the village away as is the local convenience store. The property itself is spacious and well equipped. Lounge furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen has all the appliances one might need. The dining table is quite small but is perfectly adequate for two people and as the property is advertised as accommodation for couples this is fine. There is a wall mounted TV and a very good wi-fi signal. The bedroom has a double bed, a TV and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, we also found a "Dark Skies Kit" which comprised a book of the sky at night identifying constellations and planets and dates of astrological events through the year also a pair of binoculars, a blanket and a flask we thought this was a really nice touch but of course to take advantage of this you need clear skies and unfortunately Mother Nature did not oblige during our visit. The bathroom is very spacious with a nice shower. All in all this property has everything you might need. Oh! nearly forgot to mention the private garden to the rear complete with patio furniture and Cherry tree. I would recommend this property for a couple looking for a quiet break. Hide

Lovely apartment with small garden suitable for 2 plus a dog in an excellent position for exploring Northumberland. A long handled brush and a dustpan and brush would have been handy to do a daily sweep up. The outside area to the front could do with a tidy up. Small bits of rubbish plus weeds growing through cracks in the paving stones. Would lookRead more much better if this was smartened up. The planters were not needed as they were mainly full of weeds. Sofa and bed both very comfortable and the furniture in the bedroom was good quality. Kitchen had enough equipment for holiday use. A pair of scissors would have been handy. Bathroom was large and the shower was good. Had a problem with slow flowing water draining from the shower but the maintenance man explained that this was because the pipe work was smaller than normal and that it was not a fault with the shower. There was sometimes a slight drainy smell. Not sure a bidet is needed. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and would stay here again. Hide

Privacy issues. Had to keep blinds and curtains drawn, front and back. Not helped by short days. No natural light. We would have scored the appartment higher, but the instructions for using the appliances and heating were not simple to understand and use. In fact the only instructions for the heating system were on the thermostat in 5 point text, needed a magnifying glass to read, so unable to have the heating how we would have liked. You should follow the examRead moreple of hotels and provide a folder with simple concise instructions for all the appliances. Hide
