Revel in a taste of coastal living in this quirky two-storey holiday home in the heart of the idyllic village of Bamburgh, home to the opulent Bamburgh Castle and a golden sandy beach. The flowing open-plan interior is ideal for a larger group of guests plus up to three wagging companions. Warm up in front of the wood burner and relax in the orangery with a good book after a day of swimming in the sea and enjoying long seafront walks.
On the ground floor of the property is an open-plan living area with a farmhouse-style kitchen featuring a peninsula and modern appliances. Next to this is a wooden dining table with seating for eight guests. Continue into the living area with two large sofas and an armchair in front of the wood burner and TV. Also on the ground floor is a small orangery with glass doors that open up onto the garden, a bathroom and a double bedroom. Upstairs is another bathroom plus three more bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite, a twin room and a small 4ft double bedroom. Outside is a courtyard with furniture and a BBQ.
Spend your time away enjoying long coastal walks with Fido, swimming in the sea at the sandy Bamburgh Beach and admiring the imposing Bamburgh Castle (both within 0.5 miles). If you want a night off from cooking, dine out at one of the canine-welcoming pubs in the village (within 0.5 miles). Discover Holy Island (15.5 miles) and the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve (16 miles) – which are accessible from the causeway.
