This sandstone cottage is part of a large collection of 12 properties. It sleeps up to six people, with three dogs allowed too. There are many on-site amenities for all guests to share, so entertaining everyone of any age is a breeze. The wider area is great too, thanks to this cottage being so close to Bamburgh and set in the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The cottage is a real home from home, with a big open-plan living area, comprising the lounge, dining room and kitchen. In the lounge space, you’ll find comfortable seating and a wood burner to gather around on cooler days. Dogs often like to curl up here for a nap, but you can also watch the Smart TV here as well. In the kitchen, you’ll have everything you need to cater for your group while on holiday, while the charming table can easily accommodate all six guests. The three bedrooms are all individually styled. The master has a super-king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The other two bedrooms are both twins, which share the family bathroom. Outside, you’ll find that there is a private decked area for guests to use. It has outdoor furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. You can share the large paddock area with play equipment for children, as well as use the tennis court and hot tub. If you want to throw a big party, doing so is easy in the converted barn, which can house 24 guests.
When you want to explore further afield, you’ll find that there are plenty of walks right from the front doorstep. Bamburgh is less than a mile away and has lots to offer, with a beach and many eateries that are usually dog friendly. Or, you could head to Seahouses, 4 miles, which is another pretty village with a wonderful harbour.
