This pretty cottage is in a peaceful location, yet close to many of the area’s most popular towns and close to the stunning Northumberland Coast. Inside, you’ll find large, spacious communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It makes congregating with friends or family, plus up to three dogs, exceptionally easy and pleasurable so that the cottage provides a wonderful backdrop to a memorable holiday.
Inside, you’ll find that the main communal area is a large open-plan living room – encapsulating the lounge, dining room and kitchen. It’s a stylish room, that’s got a cosy feel thanks to the inclusion of a wood burner, which takes the chill off cooler days and is a great napping spot for dogs. With a TV/DVD, there’s lots of entertainment on offer here, while the kitchen also has everything you need. Catering here is never a chore. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms. Two have sloped ceilings and pretty twin beds. The final bedroom has a super-king-size bed which can also be made into a twin if needed. It also boasts its own en-suite shower room. All guests can share the delightful bathroom on the ground floor. Outdoors, you''ll find the patio is perfect for al fresco drinks, though the garden isn’t fully enclosed, so do keep an eye on dogs if you decide to let them off lead here.
The property is in the village of Adderstone, which is just under 5 miles from Bamburgh with its famous castle. Fantastic dog walks can be enjoyed right from the doorstep here, but you could drive to Craster, Beadnell or Seahouses too (all within 20 miles) which are all charming towns or villages on the coast, serving fantastic seafood in many a dog-friendly eatery.
