Get the best of the coast and countryside during a stay on this 100-acre estate with plenty to explore within the grounds and the market town of Pwhelli just a few miles away. This charming bungalow is a great option for small families looking for a break away with their dogs in an area that welcomes those on four legs as well as two. The interior of the property is charming with large windows and doors letting light flood inside, a lovely garden for pups to race around in, and planty of space to unwind inside or out after busy adventures along the Llyn Peninsula coastline.

Welcoming you into the property is the entrance hall, leading into the cosy lounge area which has a log burner set into a beautiful feature fireplace for your enjoyment. Kick back and relax on one of the two comfortable sofas, put your feet up and watch a film on the Smart TV in the evening, or gaze out of the gallery window for views of the beautifully landscaped estate. The kitchen/diner is a great social space with a characterful floor and light pouring in from multiple angles. There is a country-style dining table to seat four at mealtimes, and plenty of space to store and prepare food for all the family during a stay. Two bedrooms make up the sleeping arrangements with a tasteful double room featuring a wardrobe and chest of drawers, as well as a twin bedroom also offering ample storage. Completing the inside of the property is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath where you can find peace and quiet for a long soak, or quickly rinse off the sand after a day at the beach. Through the patio doors in the dining area you can access the rear terrace which has a lovely selection of chairs, a table and a BBQ. Guests are also welcome to explore the shared 6 acres of grounds with marvellous walks and plenty of pretty plants and arrangements to see.

Head to the seaside location of Pwhelli for a memorable day out where you can stroll across the sandy dog-friendly beach, stop off for a bite to eat at one of the local eateries and soak in the friendly local culture, just a mile away from the estate. Join a stretch of the Wales Coast Path from your beach of choice and experience the patchwork of terrain, keeping an eye out for interesting local wildlife, flora and fauna along the way. A fantastic location in a beautiful setting. It's a great place to explore the Llyn peninsular and handy for most of the attractions in the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage has everything you need for a lovely holiday.

We had a week at Bryn Penmaen and it was the perfect base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and further. Close to all the amenities of Pwllheli but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere with great views from the driveway. The cottage had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and extremely peaceful. Would definitely return if we'reRead more ever coming to the area again! Hide

The cottage is in a great location and access to it is very good. But once inside the disappointment starts: Chipped plates and mugs; frying pan disgustingly filthy and all scratched beyond usability; no hot water on arrival - temporarily fixed but when it went down again it took another 24 hours to fix that included extreme difficulty in conRead moretacting the owner; main storage heater in the hallway that should have provided the main source of heat was not radiating heat through the body. Many other things of note such as main bin not emptied prior to our arrival or during our stay, vacuum cleaner waste full to capacity, and other things that made this stay the worst experienced in many years of booking holiday cottages. Credit to Holidaycottages.co.uk in their response when I was unable to contact the owner, to report the issue of no hot water, and their follow up afterwards. Unfortunately, the time it took to get this issue sorted out with the owner impacted the entire first full day of our holiday - completely unacceptable, especially considering that the owner knew there was an issue with this prior to our arrival!! I would never recommend this property based on the above experience. Im left feeling disappointed and disgusted. Hide

Beautiful cosy cottage in a stunning location, but let down by a few major faults. We stayed for 1 week in November, the cottage was in a stunning location, completely detached and a good distance from the neighbouring property. Lovely grounds and public footpaths to explore. This cottage is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and has everyRead morething you need for a weeks break. HOWEVER-unfortunately a few issues let this property down, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, obviously over-worn and left us feeling achey and exhausted! Rather than relaxed and comfortable. The Hot Water could barely cover 2 inches of the bath before running cold. Luckily there is an electric shower which does stay hot, but lacks pressure. Despite having instructions on how to use the dishwasher in the property manual, the dishwasher cannot actually be opened due to the bottom catching on the baseboard of the kitchen unit at the bottom. This cottage has the potential to be absolutely perfect , however with these current issues , we couldnt recommend to a friend. Hide

A lovely property in a great location. So nice to be able to sit in the garden & enjoy the birdsong! An ideal private retreat, but only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Pwllheli, while access to the nearest beach is even closer. A perfect base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula or just staying put and admiring the local views on a sunny day.
