Ideally located just above the pretty West Looe quayside, this romantic holiday hideaway is perfect for a couple and their beloved pup. The apartment encapsulates coastal living. Once a thriving trading and fishing port, today, Looe Harbour is home to various working and leisure boats, while its cafes, pubs and restaurants offer a warm welcome to all who visit. Your hound will lead the way past West Looe Quayside to play in the rock pools of Hannafore Point (0.5 miles). Cross the river at the arched bridge or by ferry to explore East Looe’s busier shopping lanes and see the historic banjo-shaped harbour wall.

This stylish property with views over the river and a well-appointed open-plan living space is bright, welcoming and comfortable. There is a lovely sofa to snuggle up on to watch your favourite box set on the Smart TV while four paws rests at your feet. The contemporary kitchen area has everything you need to rustle up some romantic meals, and a stylish dining table and chairs by the window offer lovely views of the estuary. The fresh, coastal theme continues into the double bedroom, and there is also a shower room. There’s no garden here, but you can get all the fresh air and sunshine you want by walking with your pup along the riverside to the harbour entrance.

If you walk to the railway station terminus of the scenic Looe Valley Line, the train will take you and your hound to the ancient market town of LiskeardWalkers will love having access to the South West Coast Path and can walk to Portnadler Beach (2 miles), where four paws can have a runaround. Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park (18 miles) is a great choice to sniff out some stately adventures.

Good location and well presented apartment with everything you need in it made it an enjoyable stay. North road is closed adjacent to property so we drove down quay road into small square by Jolly sailor pub and then reversed up to property about 50 yards, off loaded stuff and parked up there are options for parking depending on your needs.

The apartment (s) had been very well converted from its original house. The quality of the furniture, equipment, bedding and general finish was excellent. You might wish to supply a lower TOG rating duvet for use during the summer months. I hope the ladies in the office took note of my report concerning the gas boiler which had developed a fault. TRead morehey were only just putting the office back together after a new flooring had been laid. Hide
