Property code: OC-BRAE

This attractive property is in a wonderful location for a family holiday or a get-together with friends. Thanks to being close to Suffolk’s pretty coastline, and its expansive countryside, it’s a great spot to bring a dog or two who will enjoy running around, and investigating new smells. The property has been elegantly decorated throughout to ensure it remains stylish yet comfortable to help guests relax from the moment they arrive.

Inside, you’ll find that the living areas are bright and airy. The kitchen, with its island, is a very sociable space and has everything you would need to cater while on holiday. The kitchen leads to a sunroom, which is an open-plan living and dining area that benefits from plenty of natural light and views over the garden. Guests can also relax in the lounge, where the wood burner-effect gas fire provides the ideal spot for dogs to curl up and go to sleep. The ground floor is also home to a handy utility room which leads to a shower room. Guests of the downstairs king-size bedroom can use this for their convenience. Upstairs are two more bedrooms. One is a twin with a balcony, while the second room is a king-size with its own en-suite. All guests, though, can share the separate family bathroom on this floor. The home’s garden is also a fantastic space for all – children and dogs will be able to play outdoors, while adults can dine alfresco at the garden table and chairs.

The house is situated in the village of Reydon – which is popular thanks to being the gateway to Suffolk’s countryside, but also on the outskirts of Southwold. Southwold has many attractions, such as its long stretch of beach that pups will love to play frisbee on, and its vibrant town centre. Many of its pubs welcome dogs with open arms, too.

  • 3 bedrooms - 2 king-size (1 en-suite), 1 twin
  • 3 bathrooms – 1 bathroom with bath and WC, 1 shower room with walk-in shower and WC, 1 en-suite with shower and WC
  • Double oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer
  • Utility room with washing machine, microwave and heated towel rail
  • Highchair and stairgate available
  • Smart TVs, DVD player
  • Please do not allow your dogs upstairs or on the furniture – stairgate can be used for pets
  • Balcony – please take care with children
  • Enclosed garden with garden furniture
  • Private, gated parking for 3 cars
  • Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.4 miles, beach 1 mile

A lovely holiday home close to amenities and dog walks. Three double rooms and three bathrooms made it very suitable for us oldies. Although we had a cold week the garden was fully enclosed in the back and would have been very pleasant to have sat in. We will definitely try to book Braeside again if we go back to Suffolk.

We had a lovely family Xmas at the house. It was a surprise that it was decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped and the induction AGA type cooker was great to prepare our Xmas dinner. The walk to Southwold is approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Yes, parking is for 3 cars but turning them around to drive back the narrow lane is quite a challenge.

The house is fantastic, we would definitely return and recommend to our friends. We had a great time with the family and it was our 6 month old granddaughters first holiday, which I think she enjoyed.

Comfortable house in a quiet location but easy access for Southwold. Enjoyed the rowing boat ferry to Walberswick. The Anglia Transport Museum near Lowestoft is worth a visit.

We thoroughly loved staying at Braeside. It was lovely to have plenty of room for the whole family. Each had own bathroom or shower room. The bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. Grandchildren loved the games provided and adults enjoyed the tea and biscuits! We spent all our time in the kitchen/ dining/ relaxing area at the backRead more of the property. The location was only a 5min drive to the beach where there was ample parking (4ish for 6hrs?). Lovely local shop within walking distance. Sturdy 25min walk to the beach. Hide
