This large, impressive house has flexible sleeping arrangements and space to accommodate up to 14 people, plus a couple of dogs. It means it’s a great option for a large family get together or reunion with friends. Inside, the house benefits from elegant interiors, and outside, you’ll find the garden is a great space too – either for al fresco dinners, letting the dogs out, or simply for kids to let off steam.
The property comprises two cottages which are adjoined by a door. There are high vaulted ceilings throughout, plus large windows and French doors flooding the entire property with light. Communal areas, such as the two open-plan living spaces, are bright and airy as a result. They both boast a wood burner for dogs to curl up beside, plus kitchens that are well-equipped, making catering for a large group easy. The dining tables are large enough to accommodate all guests, but there’s also space for those who just want to kick back and relax to watch TV on the plump sofas. In all, there are seven bedrooms. Five can be made up as twins or king-size beds. The last two rooms are a king-size and a double. All have thoughtful finishing touches to give them character, plus en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. Outside, you’ll find the garden has a BBQ and garden furniture so you can eat and relax in the fresh air too.
The property is 2 miles outside the village of Beccles. Beccles has shops and restaurants, which are very convenient, but just 9 miles away is the beautiful Suffolk coast. You could also head down to Southwold, 14 miles away, which is a popular seaside town with even more restaurants and pubs – many of which would welcome your dogs with open arms.
