Head up a couple of steps to enter this pretty terraced cottage and find contemporary furnishings and decor combined with traditional features such as exposed brickwork and beamed ceilings. A roomy hallway has hard flooring, so you can clean up mucky pawprints easily, before wandering through to the kitchen/diner to cook and eat delicious meals. A separate snug area with a TV is the perfect place for taking some time out. Upstairs you will find the four bedrooms, a king-size, double, twin and a single, as well as a bathroom, and a separate shower room. Through the kitchen doors is a decked balcony offering remarkable coastal and sea views. Steps lead down to a wonderful, fully enclosed courtyard garden, providing a safe space for the dog to explore as you enjoy a sundowner or dine alfresco.

New Quay has a range of amenities with shops, eateries and dog-friendly pubs within 500 metres of the property. Enjoy soaking up the sun, building sandcastles and paddling at the stunning North Beach (0.5 miles), which welcomes dogs any time of year. Several boat trips launch from New Quay Harbour, many of which allow dogs on board, and provide guests with opportunities to see the dolphins that reside in Cardigan Bay. First thing to say the views from the decking at the rear of the house are gorgeous, the sun rises were glorious and seeing the dolphins leaping was a treat. The house was impeccably clean with all the equipment you could wish for. Although on the main road going to the town/beach etc it's not overly busy so did not disturb sleep and was approx 20Read more minute walk down the hill to the waterfront. For convenience there is a Costcutter shop close to the house which is well stocked for essentials and a large safe car park slightly further on. There is no direct parking at the house but there is space outside to unload/load your car. The only real downside of the house but can't be helped due to the age of the property is the amount of steps internally, the stairs are quite narrow, curved and have uneven level of steps at the top, only a problem if you are a bit unsteady on your feet. We had a wonderful stay with many an hour playing games, eating meals and gazing at the sea views. We would visit again. Hide

A wonderful cottage to stay in! The accommodation is spacious but also cosy with different rooms to choose from. It was great to have two bathrooms too! The location was great and gave you the most amazing views from the back windows and garden. It was also located close to the centre of town with easy access to all amenities. Whilst there was nRead moreo parking at the property, it was easy to unload the car and park in the car park up the road - very reasonable at 21 for the whole week. We had a wonderful few days here at Elvor. The cottage is very well equipped with wonderful sea views and an enclosed garden (sun trap). Everything you could need was at the cottage. It was very clean too. We had one really cold day, so the log burner was lovely. The town of New Quay is one of the friendliest and unspoilt places (and dog friendly)Read more and we were made to feel part of the community despite only being on holiday. Lime crab is a must for fish and chips (and crab taco). The Pepper pot is also a lovely place to eat, and the quiz night in the Seahorse pub hilarious. That is one super friendly pub. A wonderful stroll down to the beach on the left of property is wonderful and the beach just gorgeouswe did it at sunrise a few days. I would recommend Elvor and New Quay as a fab place to spend a few days. We will be back. Hide
