"Northcliffe was a dream! The views out to sea were lovely. Position was spot on with only a short walk to town or the pier. We did lots of reminiscing of my childhood in Southwold. The house was amazing. The décor was second to none, with its mix of modern, old and quirky and colourful, without being overpowering. A house you could just sit back and relax. Space for everyone, either together or apart. The beds were so comfortable, no one wanted to get up! We won’t hesitate in going back. Absolutely delightful". - Nina Dallorzo
This property has an enviable seafront location. It’s an ideal place to go with a large group of friends or extended family, thanks to having space for 14 people and a much-loved dog. Its interiors are full of large living spaces and comfortable bedrooms, so that everyone on your trip can easily relax – including your canine companion.
Inside, you’ll find the main living area is a lounge/dining space that’s a great spot to congregate, with cosy sofas to chill out on while your dog curls up asleep next to the room’s wood burner. The room also benefits from sea views providing a wonderful vista when dining at the long table. The kitchen is well-equipped so rustling up meals here is easy – even for a large group. If you want a bit more peace and quiet or a space dedicated for kids, there’s an extra snug room with a TV too. You can head out to the patio area from here to make the most of any sun. Up on the first floor, you’ll find four bedrooms. There’s a master room with a super-king-size bed and sea views. Then, there’s a king-size, a twin and a bunk room. Two bedrooms on this floor benefit from an en-suite, but there’s also a family bathroom. Upstairs, the second floor has two more bedrooms, with en-suites, which can be king-size or twin beds. For outdoor space, you can sit in the private courtyard at the back, or the front with views of the sea.
Overlooking one of Suffolk’s prettiest stretches of coast, being in Southwold also means you have its shops and restaurants right on your doorstep. Many pubs are dog-friendly here, so your resident canine guest can stay involved in the fun wherever they go.
