This impeccably decorated terraced house has been beautifully designed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. On the ground floor, the open-plan lounge/dining room has soft colours, books, games and artwork, with seating gathered around the Smart TV and ornamental fireplace. The dining table at the opposite end has a view through French doors to the garden. In the kitchen, there’s plenty of room for your canine friends’ food bowls, and on this floor there are also a utility room and WC. All four gorgeous bedrooms are upstairs. The king-size bedroom has an impressive en-suite shower room (with his-and-hers basins), while the two doubles and a twin share a family bathroom. At the back of the house, there’s an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio, where you can have a coffee break, sunbathe enjoying the fresh Cornish air while your four-pawed besties safely sniff around.
In Padstow’s charming streets there are plenty of independent shops and interesting galleries to explore, and when you need a break you can enjoy a delicious meal in one of the high-quality cafes or restaurants, several owned by TV chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. Dog-friendly beaches nearby include Hawkers Cove and the adjoining Harbour Cove, just along the coast path from the centre of town. Sand-loving hounds can also have fun on the famous ‘seven bays for seven days’, all within 5.5 miles, of which only Trevone Bay has restrictions, during the daytime from mid-May till September.
