Discover the North York Moors National Park, as well as Whitby and the coast, when you and your four-legged friend retreat to this cottage in Yorkshire. Situated on the edge of the town, and sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, it also enjoys access to a shared, heating swimming pool and lawned grounds where you can play fetch with your happy hound after days out exploring.
Enter the cottage, pausing to rub your chum down in the porch after wet walks or trips to the beach, then head on through to the lounge/diner together. Find your favourite programme on TV and let your pal indulge in a quiet doze before calling him through to the adjoining kitchen for his dinner. Find everything you need in this well-equipped space to help you cater for the rest of your party too, then dine together at the table through in the main room. At the end of each fun-filled day, make your way up to either the king-size bedroom or the twin, both of which are on the first floor of the cottage, together with the family bathroom. Take your happy hound out into your private patio area to keep you company over your morning coffee. Later in the day, let him run about on the lawn in the grounds, which also include a playground and BBQ area. There is parking for one car at the cottage.
Head straight out on walks in the area, taking you and your furry friend along the River Esk and past the Larpool Viaduct. Walk 1.5 miles into town to find dog-friendly eateries or spend time on the beach at Tate Hill, where your canine companion can chase and splash without restriction. For a coastal walk, pick up the Cleveland Way on the cliffs near Whitby Abbey.
