Situated at the eastern end of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this light-filled property makes a lovely holiday retreat for families and friends seeking a cosy getaway perfect for exploring both coast and countryside. Within easy reach of the pet-welcoming beach at Mundesley, the cottage features an outdoor swimming pool, a freestanding roll-top bath and access to the owner’s charming walled garden. Offering ample accommodation for six guests, this sweet hideaway has plenty of space for a canine friend to join you to explore the region’s sandy beaches, quaint villages and glorious countryside.

The large entrance hall provides a great space for your four-legged friend to sleep at night. The spacious and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a fantastic living space, with a cosy lounge, a sweet central dining table and a fully equipped kitchen where you can rustle up a family feast. There’s also a pretty additional lounge ideal for getting together in the evening to watch a movie or chat about the day. Upstairs, you will find an elegantly decorated family bathroom and three bedrooms decorated in soothing shades: a charming twin and two delightful king-size rooms – one with an en-suite shower room. Outside, there are two enclosed patio areas with a BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture, perfect for dining alfresco on a sunny afternoon as your pet enjoys the sunshine. You will also have access to the owner’s beautiful walled garden and you can take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool during the summer.

There are some wonderful dog-friendly beaches nearby including Mundesley, Trimingham and Happisburgh, all within 7.5 miles. Inland, the market town of North Walsham (3.5 miles) has some great dog-friendly pubs and restaurants, and there are miles of fantastic walks including the Felbrigg and Blickling Estates, both within 12 miles.

Knapton Hall was absolutely outstanding, everything was so clean and the amount of equipment was surprisingly good. The owner was so friendly and helpful, I have nothing negative to say about this holiday

Fabulous cottage in an ideal location for visiting the coast and area attractions. Very peaceful and comfortable with everything supplied equipment wise you could possibly need and also ample private gated parking right outside your door. There was also the added bonus of private garden areas for relaxing in but a beautifully stocked walled garRead moreden was ideal for the dog to play with the hosts dog. A clean fenced off pool area is also on site to enjoy in warm weather which we managed to on our final day. Fantastic hosts too who lived nearby and made us very welcome. Cant recommend highly enough. Hide
