Sniff out adventure with your family and salty sea dogs, and stay in this holiday development on the Devon coast. This property is part of a collection of units designed for getaways, with access to a dog-friendly restaurant on site and gorgeous views over the cliffs. Make friends with other pups, explore ruined castles and swim in the sea for a perfect summer holiday.

As you enter the unit, you’ll find a spacious open-plan living area with a lounge, kitchen and diner. It’s lit by a large glass door which leads to the patio, and you can sit by the window and watch the sea or enjoy a book. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms: a twin for the children and a double with a balcony so you can enjoy a private glass of wine in the evening. Out the back, you’ll see a dining area and a small patio, enclosed with a fence so the dogs can sniff around.

This property borders the National Trust’s Bolberry Down, which is beautifully maintained and full of wildlife. There’s a dog-friendly cafe and you may be able to spot peregrines, rock pipits and stone chaffs. Visit Soar Mill Cove, a dog-friendly beach 1 mile away, for a sandy area surrounded by dramatic stone formations and the occasional rock pool. Expert swimmers could visit Enchanted Cove (2 miles), an area only accessible by sea and thoroughly magical. For more walks, follow the cliffs along to Bolt Trail (2 miles) where you’ll find the ruins of an Iron Age settlement. Finally, journey to Kingsbridge (5.5 miles), a nearby town full of history, local shops and dog-friendly restaurants.

Easy booking procedure. Clear instructions and timely reminders. Very pleased with standard of accommodation and location which was clearly presented on the website. Not sure when we will revisit the West Country, but will check your website if we do.

What a find! Fantastic location -views are beautiful. Property is perfect for a family of four and a dog. Great coastal walks on your doorstep plus the added bonus of a superb restaurant right next door.
