Based in a quiet area, close to Craster’s main harbour, this holiday home was once a fisherman’s cottage and a great spot to get away from it all with family or friends – plus a much-loved dog. The village itself has plenty to offer, while the property has spacious communal areas and comfortable bedrooms. The sea views that the property benefits from mean that the house is sure to be the location of a memorable holiday for all.
Inside, the lounge is a bright and airy room, with wooden floors, comfortable seating and a wood burner where dogs love to warm up during nap time. The room also benefits from views towards Craster Harbour. In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to cater while on holiday – whatever your group size. There''s even another fireplace in here, housing a wood burner effect electric fire. The ground floor is also home to a large dining room, a handy utility room and a separate WC. Upstairs, you’ll find a double bedroom with harbour and sea views, and two further bedrooms, which are both twins. All guests can share the family bathroom or shower room. Outside, you’ll find a storage area in a lower-ground-floor room and a garden. It’s one of two gardens that does not have a dividing fence, yet is clearly marked. The property’s garden area has a BBQ and seating – plus those mesmerising views towards the sea.
One of the best bits about the location is being so close to the coast path, which will take you to Dunstanburgh Castle just over a mile away. Or you could keep things simple and just watch the hustle and bustle of the harbour, before enjoying a meal at the local dog-friendly pub.
