Book a group stay at this generous holiday home in the Northumberland village of Beadnell and take your best furry friend along with you to join in the fun. Sleeping nine guests, the five-bedroom retreat could be ideal for an extended family escape or group holiday with dog-loving friends. With an enclosed lawned garden, and just 0.5 miles from the beach, your chum’s tail won’t stop wagging from the moment of his arrival.

Enter the house to find beautifully finished, spacious accommodation. Choose whether to take your four-legged companion through to the lounge or into the snug with you. Listen to music, watch TV or simply give your contented canine some puppy love. When he asks for his dinner, take him through to the kitchen/diner. Prepare hearty feasts for everyone else too and call them through to the table in here or the dining room. There is also a utility room, with washing machine and tumble dryer for washing damp dog towels after days on the beach, and a WC downstairs. Head upstairs to find three king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and another with an en-suite shower room, plus a twin, a single bedroom and a nursery with cot. The family bathroom has a spa bath. Spill out into the sunshine to play fetch with your eager hound. Light the BBQ out here too and dine in the fresh air. There is a garage with a multi-games table and space for cycles. The property has parking for four cars.

Spend your days playing with your pal on the dog-friendly beach, just being aware to avoid signed nesting areas at certain times. Enjoy a 3-mile walk along the sand from Beadnell to Seahouses. Visit Dunstanburgh Castle, 9 miles away, taking your paw-some chum along with you for the trip.

We were 3 family groups totally 9 with children aged 9,4 and 2. We had an amazing long weekend at the house it was perfect. Very well equipped, convenient for beach and sightseeing. We ate at The Landing which we can recommend - empty plates all round. Fish and chips from the van in the village were tasty too. We would all recommend this propertyRead more, it was very quiet and we all slept well. The safe garden is a bonus. Hide

We absolutely loved our holiday in holmeside, the location and service we have received has been amazing. However there were just a few little loose ends along the way which could have made the holiday a little better had they been tied. the communication through the welcome back was not consistent with the other information around the house. FoRead morer example in the welcome folder it stated bins go out on a Wednesday - then as soon as you walk in theres a sign on the coffee table stating the bins go out on a Friday (they do in-fact go out on a Wednesday we discovered). Just little inconsistencies in information which made things a little confusing. We also noticed the hot water did not have a cap - obviously hot water will be omitted from a hot water tap - however this water was at boiling point and resulted in my elderly grandma receiving burns (is this meant to be capped to a safer temperature?) The property is advertised as pet friendly and this was absolutely true in almost all aspects and it was amazing in this regard, however we noticed theres a plant outside which is infact toxic to dogs (just to give the heads up to avoid any further issues with other customers - luckily we blocked this off and knew our stuff) Also in the ad it states theres a Nintendo wii - on our last night we looked forward to using this as a family (brought our own games luckily as we couldnt find any on site) but we couldnt enjoy this as there wasnt any controllers available for this?. however every other aspect of the holiday was brilliant - lovely property and amazing location. Just tiny little things which could have made it a little better. :) Hide

The last two lower scores are due to the web sight of Original Cottages, I was unable to pay the deposit or remaining balance using the online service instead I had to use the phone number and do it through the automated service. But other than that everything else was excellent

Overall the house is well equipped and some cleaning items provided. If you book this place, do take toilet roll with you as there isn't enough provided for the number of people it sleeps. The location is perfect for access to Beadnell beach and the surrounding areas are a short drive away. The garden could do with a security light as it was verRead morey dark on an evening when letting the dogs outside. Hide

Lovely house in good location. Would have been perfect with more electric sockets in bedrooms and living rooms and a blackout blind in the nursery room. We also couldnt get the heating working when it was a bit cool in the evenings.

The information in the file has not been updated e.g wifi code and password, day for bin collection different to day on notice board. We were told to take our own cot mattress but it was not needed and would not have fitted anyway. Apart from that excellent house, well equipped and beautifully presented.
