This bijou, single-storey cottage is in the village of Seahouses, in its original fishing quarter. With its double bedroom and open-plan living area, it’s a wonderful option for a couple looking to get away from it all with their much-loved dog. The interiors are neutral and stylish, while the location means that little effort is needed to find things to do. Seahouses has everything you should need for a fun-filled holiday.
Inside, you’ll go through the front of the attractive cottage straight into the open-plan living area which comprises the kitchen, lounge and dining room. You can leave your shoes on the porch, and towel down any muddy dogs there to ensure that the room remains uncluttered and a peaceful area to hole up with your loved one. You’ll find beamed ceilings in the living space, giving the room character, with the kitchen completed in a farmhouse style – including wooden surfaces. For relaxation, you can curl up in front of the Smart TV and electric fire on one of two sofas, while your dog sleeps at your feet. There’s a table and chairs in the dining area for romantic meals together. The bedroom is elegant with a double bed, and there’s a pretty shower room too. Outside, to the front of the property, you’ll find a private decked area. It overlooks the communal courtyard where there is a picnic bench for al fresco dinners cooked on the BBQ.
Seahouses village has plenty to offer within half a mile. You’ll find plenty of dog-friendly eateries there and many shops to mooch around. For walks, you could head to the local nature reserve about a mile away, while Seahouses Beach itself is also a mile distant.
