A perfectly located base for our Northumberland holiday. This property felt like a little home for us for the time we stayed there. Very comfortable and just what we needed. Thank you.

Location was very good with only a 5 min walk into Seahouses. The property itself was in need of some tlc. Even something as simple as cable ties from the tv would help. Some old and not so old damp patches showing and whoever installed the front door and bedroom patio doors need a talking to as both are possible areas for damp to encroach. The gRead morearden was just laid to lawn, which is fine, but all the flower pots had weeds in and didnt look as if they have been touched for quite some time. Hide

A very comfortable and convenient place to stay with our two dogs. Safe, enclosed garden for the dogs. Compact driveway for the car. Short walk into town and a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Firstly we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seahouses, the cottage was very nice and reasonably well equipped ( a bit more cutlery would have been good and together with crockery would have saved regular dishwasher usage. Location was a bit of an issue the cottage being quite a distance from the town centre therefore a long walk although post 6pm aRead more town centre park was free and allowed access to varied eating houses. Excellent property, very clean and well equipped. Very warm and prettily decorated, and the location was excellent. The only issue we had was that the shower didnt work, and as the main part of our stay was over a weekend we didnt have anyone arrive to repair it. If we had been staying all week we would have wanted it sorting out, of course, Read morebut told the owner that it wasnt the end of the world as there was a bath. Hide

Your choice of holiday cottages is great, but you overwhelm your customers with e-mails and texts, particularly just before and just after departure. We were aware of arrival and departure times when booking, we didn't need to be reminded 5 or 6 times in the days just before the start of our holiday. Too much repetition.

I was mainly satisfied with the property. The lawn needed cutting,we found dog poop in there also the the letterbox on front door entrance I ripped my shirt and gashed my arm on it.It protrudes into the door entrance, thats my reason for not giving full marks

The house was clean and comfortable, and was well equipped, even having a good TV package, useful on a poor day or evening. The area was very pleasant and extremely quiet, even though there is a school at the bottom of the garden. We enjoyed everything about the place and will definitely be staying again.
