This one-bedroom bolthole sleeps just two guests but has plenty of room for your four-legged friend if he would like to come along too. With a shared courtyard for outside dining, the inviting property is in a great location for picking up the Northumberland Coast Path and spending time on sandy beaches with your happy hound.

Let yourselves into the single-storey retreat, pausing in the porch to dry your pal’s paws and slip off your walking boots or beach sandals. Follow your eager companion into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which combines cottage appeal with a light and airy ambience. Relax in here in front of the TV or with your holiday reads while your furry friend steals a quiet doze. Unpack any provisions you have bought in the kitchen area then dish up a doggy dinner and make a romantic meal for the two of you to enjoy at the table. As night falls, settle your tired pet and head through to the super-king-size bedroom. Have a hot shower in the family shower room the following day before enjoying breakfast out in the shared courtyard. There’s a BBQ here too for summer evenings.

Discover plenty of walks to enjoy with your canine companion through the Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spend time with him on the sandy beach at Seahouses and follow the coast for 3 miles from here to Bamburgh if his legs need a good stretch. Take him into the castle grounds at Bamburgh with you too. Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve, 1 mile from your base, is another picturesque place to set tails wagging. Book a dog-friendly boat trip out to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne from the harbour at Seahouses.

The cottage is within walking distance to the shops. The dining table situated at the window was a great place to sit and watch the birds . The bed was so comfortable and had a great sleep every night.

I scored 3 on the website property information because it showed that the property had two settees which was ideal for us but when we arrived there was only one which restricted us as I have servere arthritis apparently your showing old pictures on your site the whole place has been altered and redecorated whos is misleading by you. Also there wasRead more no waste bin for rubbish etc and on,y one waste bag.. Also the wi fii password was incorrect on the itinerary and we had to call you for a password which we got. Hide

Warm and comfortable nice big comfortable bed could provide an oven cloth but otherwise everything you need and the dogs loved it!
