Take your happy hound on walks through the grounds of this elegant apartment building in Beadnell, 2 miles from Seahouses. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, first-floor apartment offers ample space for you and your party, including your canine companion. Take him down to the beach, just 500 metres away, at picturesque Beadnell Bay, where you can also pick up the Northumberland Coast Path.

Open the door to the former country house hotel, which has now been divided into apartments, and head up the stairs to your private quarters. Call your waggy-tailed chum in with you to appreciate the airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its large windows and leafy views. Settle in here on the soft seating in front of a good film on TV, while your contented canine rests his head for a time. Prepare meals for everyone, including your pup, in the kitchen area, calling the human members of your party to the table when dinner is ready. Pat your pal goodnight before heading off to one of the two sumptuous bedrooms for the night. These include a super-king-size room, that can also be arranged as twins by prior agreement instead, and a room with a double and a single bed. There is a family bathroom with underfloor heating. Stroll through the sunshine in the shared gardens as often as your delighted dog wishes. You have parking for two cars with the apartment.

Head off on a 4-mile walk from Beadnell to Low Newton By Sea along section of the Northumberland Coast Path. Four-legged beachgoers can largely run free but keep an eye out for signs highlighting areas to avoid during nesting seasons. Have a trip to Bamburgh, 5.5 miles away, where your pal can also dip his paws in the sea and can accompany you around the castle grounds.

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 king-size (that can be made up as a twin on request), 1 double with an additional single bed
  • 1 bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, and WC
  • Range cooker with double oven, integral fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave
  • TV in lounge and bedrooms, CD/radio

Nice property in a lovely position, comfortable beds, good shower/bathroom/tv, but furniture a bit tired. Location close to pub, cafe and short walk to the sea and local shop. Had a great 2 weeks.

The apartment was excellently appointed and clean, but it seemed to lack good housekeeping and proper attention. For instance, the boiler was not working properly, and while we could live with this for hot water the malfunction was know to the agents but they did nothing to leave us instructions on how to deal with the problem. The extractor fan Read moreand shaver light in the bathroom were not working, which again should have been spotted. Also the refill mechanism on the one toilet stopped working, while the carbon monoxide alarm started to beep and malfunction. Your maintenance team were quick to remedy, but most if not all of the above could have been prevented with proper, considered maintenance. Many of the instructions appeared out of date and compiled some years ago by a previous owner, and in spite of them saying no dishwasher tablets or washing powder was left for us. Finally, it would have been nice if a welcome pack including some cakes or a bottle of wine left, which would have been much appreciated after such a long journey. Hide

Loved the location and the accommodation was all we had been hoping for. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, well equipped with plenty of storage space for our personal belongings. All in all a lovely stay and an excellent start to the New Year.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. We found the apartment very comfortable and well equipped. The Landing on the beach front was fabulous for food after a walk on the beach.

Lovely light filled apartment with super comfy bed and great towels. We really enjoyed our stay and had a fab day walking to Craster in the Autum sunshine. The Landing is a great new place for breakfast and Jolly Fisherman in Craster has great food too.

Beautiful apartment, great location. Bathroom lacked soap or shower gel holder which would have been helpful and TV did not work in master bedroom. Overall still had a wonderful time and would recommend to friends/family. My son recommended to us after staying there last November

This particular property is of a very high standard and felt like home from home the moment we walked in. The beaches in the Beadnell area are the best anywhere!

A very nice apartment ideally situated in the village - close to the amenities. Spacious rooms with able space for four adults although only one bathroom. Experience slightly spoilt for three reasons: standard of cleaning - items such as glassware sticky and dirty; wrong sized sheets on the bed which made sleeping less comfortable and bird droppingRead mores being a bit problem making parking difficult.
