Enjoying a tranquil rural location in the heart of Norfolk, this cheerful single-level property makes a fantastic getaway for couples exploring the beautiful countryside of this peaceful area. Offering spacious and cosy accommodation for two, the cottage has plenty of room for a pair of canine companions to come with you to explore the Broads or head into Norwich. Standing in the grounds of the owner’s property on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Frettenham, this delightful retreat is surrounded by horse paddocks and beautiful views, with a charming patio perfect for dining alfresco.

The airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a high ceiling and French doors allowing plenty of light to stream in. The lounge offers lovely views and is perfect for snuggling up to watch a movie at the end of a great day. To the rear of the space there’s a dining table ideal for a romantic meal which you can cook in the stylish, beautifully arranged kitchen. The property also offers a spacious super-king-size bedroom, decorated in warm neutral tones, alongside a refreshing wet room. Outside, a step leads down from the French doors onto the sweet patio. Featuring plenty of outdoor furniture, this is a lovely space to sit back and enjoy a drink in the evening as your four-legged friends run about the large enclosed garden.

The historic city of Norwich (6.5 miles) has plenty of great places to explore with your pets including Eaton Park, Mousehold Heath and The Close surrounding the cathedral. From Wroxham (7 miles) you can hire a boat to explore the Broads. Other local dog-friendly attractions include Wroxham Barns (7 miles), the Bure Valley Railway (5.5 miles) and the ruins of St Benet’s Abbey (12 miles) or you could head to Happisburgh (17 miles) for a day by the sea.

It's an excellent property for views. Surrounded by horses makes it very relaxing. We will return.

We had a great week at The Paddock. Great wi fi also. Had everything we needed. Lovely to see the horses. and plenty of wild life. Definitely a place to go to to recharge your batteries.

A comfortable cottage for two in a quiet, rural location fitted out to a high standard. The Owners came and introduced themselves and were very helpful.

A great property, in a very central location for exploring Norfolk whilst being vey secluded and peaceful. The cottage is very well set up for dogs and the secure garden is perfect. There are lots of lovely dog walks a short drive away. We will be back :)

Very good location for visiting Norfolk. Lovely place on its own in the countryside .If you like horses this is the place, Quite, dog friendly.

Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location with a secure enclosed garden which our dog loved! It is ideally situated for visiting the Broads and the coast. I am sure that we will be back soon.

Excellent. Really enjoyed our week. Lovely location in relation to neighbours. Its off the beaten track but well worth it if you like the peace and quiet. The owner was very nice and welcoming and also very helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The cottage was in excellent order, and the grounds along with the sanctuaries horse's a welcome site.....We could live there.
