Sniff out fresh air with your salty sea dogs and get ready for Torquay. This bustling coastal village is perfect for a small family, and this cottage is a great place to stay. Bound into the waves, explore some caves and spend time with the ones you love. As an extra bonus, this property comes with a private hot tub.

Enter the cottage to find the lounge and kitchen/diner. They’re cosy and perfect for everyone to spend time together chatting, reading or snoozing on the floor (if you’re a dog). When you’re ready for bed, climb the stairs to the bedrooms. There’s one twin and one king-size, each beautifully decorated and comfortable. You’ll need plenty of rest before all your holiday adventures! Visit the garden, perfect for summer evenings, equipped with a dining area and gas BBQ, so you can get the sausages sizzling with ease. Finally, take a dip in the hot tub (Easter-September only) and bubble your troubles away. There’s a gazebo-style roof on top so you can soak whatever the weather.

Torquay is the perfect place for an adventurous family. Visit Anstey’s Cove, good for swimming and paddling, or try Meadfoot Beach for water sports. Both are dog friendly, and each is 1 mile from the property. For walks on the wild side, visit Berry Head Lighthouse (10.5 miles) for whales and dolphins, plus cakes in the lighthouse cafe, or head to Labrador Bay (5 miles) for more dolphins, peregrines, and basking sharks. If you’ve worked up an appetite, try some of the local restaurants around the town or grab fish and chips on the beach. Finish off with a day in Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves (0.5 miles) where you can explore, do yoga or sniff the gardens.

This cottage is tucked away on a main street leading to Torquay harbour with off street parking and away form any noise or traffic. The owner Richard was welcoming and attentive. Good location to base yourself to explore the surrounding area of south Devon. walking distance to good local pub, "The Kents" or a 15 mins downhill walk to the harbour foRead morer wider choice of restaurants etc. Hot tub is a nice addition. I and my family had a nice time at the place, we made it best as we could. We was disappointed with not having the no bean-to-cup Jura coffee machine, washing machine with dryer as this was on the need to know feed information. Richard did put the towels that belong to the house in his tumble dryer but was reluctant with our own washing. we used thRead moree clothes airy after we fixed it. There was too much foam in the hot tub, foam balls did not clear it, needed foam remover. No mirror in the master room, There was a bed on its side up on the landing {felt it was a dumping ground}. no storage for vacuum or brooms, toilet door downstairs need shaving off at the bottom, master bedroom door would not shut, window blind in 2nd bedroom too short, had to put a blanket over the table to cover bottom of the window, as the flashing fairy lights coming from Rutland lodge was waking me up, thought it was a police car at first. Rattan seating turned up on it's side next to the hot tub {felt like a dumping ground} and also there was a rusty ashtray and a wind breaker not folded up properly and wrapped in between a plant and and it's pot as they looked unsightly. When we had a rain the cushions got wet on the rattan seats and could not sit on them again, if only there was storage for them. Had to clean a drawer in the freezer as it was iced up. food was left in the freezer from previous people, that I did not use, not sure how long it had been there. These are all niggling bits that needs dealing with and I hope Richard will sort out, as- On the good side it was lovely place to stay. good layout, close to Torquay and Babbacombe. close to the bus stops, Kents Caves 10 minute walk. shops and pub close by. Good stay to explore Torquay and surrounding area. Richard came every morning to check the hot tub and swept the leaves of the artificial grass. Richard is very helpful and he does his best. Not sure if we will come again, and we would recommend friends to come here as we all have views. Hide

We had a wonderful time in Devon. Accommodation was brilliantly located, and very comfortable. Our host Richard was great and so helpful even putting up with being barked at by our dog everyday .

Richard is a very nice man always checking we were ok. The Villa is lovely and the Jacuzzi is an added bonus. it's on an amazing site with the main property, easy parking and on road parking right outside with no restrictions. Torquay a short walk down Babbacombe road or there are two busses which stop right outside and one also goes right up to TeRead moreignmouth. Very nice area and the local pub, Kents tavern and wellswood shops just 5 mins away. Plenty of southcoast walks with Ansteys cove a must see place lovely cafe as well.So overall a very nice place with access to many areas. Hide

nice property, owner very helpful, unfortunately no sun in the garden, due to it being set back, but not a problem if you are travelling about as we did.
