We had a lovely time at Fairhaven with our family and three dogs. The house was is a beautiful location with easy access to restaurants, bars, shops and lovely beach. At first, the bathrooms and kitchen looked clean. However, some of the kitchen equipment and crockery needed to be rewashed. The bedding and towels were of good quality and cleaRead moren, but old and grey. The enclosed garden had beautiful trees, but the rear garden overgrown borders were full of weeds and nettles, the patio area needed a tidy and there should be a hand rail to the steps from the house to the garden for safety. The annex is accessible from both the outside house and inside the house with a few steps and only has a bath with no safety rail, the bath was not accessible for our elderly parents to use. We really enjoyed the house, but the house is looking tired and needs a deep clean. We would suggest that the gardener and the cleaners should spend a little more time at this property to get the house and grounds up to standard. Hide
