This lovely two-storey property in the pretty village of Walberswick is ideal for families and two lucky pups looking for a relaxing holiday on a beautiful stretch of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. There are many walking and cycling paths through the village and its environs, including along the River Blyth, crossing the Bailey Bridge at Blackshore to Southwold Harbour. Let your pups lead the way on some adventures right from your doorstep.
A beautiful house that offers a combination of cottage style charm, with comfortably low ceilings, exposed beams, and sea views from some of the upstairs windows. The sitting room offers comfortable seating and a multi-fuel stove for cooler winter evenings where your hounds can snooze warm from nose to tail, and you can socialise or watch the Smart TV. The sitting room opens onto the beautiful south-facing garden and veranda area. In the kitchen you can cook up a storm, then linger over meals in a dining room with an inglenook fireplace and a wood burner. Upstairs is a family bathroom and four bedrooms: a double with a day bed, a room with a bunk bed for children only, and two doubles (one with an ensuite shower room). Outside, the large and pretty garden is delightful, with many sheltered spots and different seating areas.
Walkers can enjoy a 7-mile circular route from Walberswick inland and then back along the coast via the nature reserves to Dunwich Beach. This lovely walk is sure to set tails wagging. Thorpeness Meare (14 miles) is a must-visit if your dogs love exploring. Enjoy the gardens, shallow boating lake, wildlife, and children’s play areas. Bungay and Beccles are two market towns where you can all enjoy a great day out - visit the castle at Bungay (16 miles) or take a boat trip into the Norfolk Broads at Beccles (15 miles).
